Mercedes-Benz Berta C63 GT4
Year:
2015

This Mercedes-Benz is powered by a V6 Berta engine with a standalone MoTeC engine control unit mated to an air sequential transmission. This is a race car, not a modified street car, and takes race gas only. Stopping power is provided by big Brembo brakes. This car was built for the MB Premium Race Series Uruguay. This project was carried out in 2015. An Uruguayan company commissioned Oreste Berta to prepare and launch this category. They entirely designed this car and replaced the original 2.0L turbo engine of the Mercedes C200. For their engine of choice, they used a completely modified naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 engine, with a power output of 365 HP @ 6600RPM, rev limiter @ 7000RPM, Dry sump, and an Xtrac model 530 transmission with a Berta air sequential system. The engine control system is Motec M130 with a push-to-pass option. Only 20 cars were built, and they raced in Uruguay for three seasons.
